Red Bluff: 105F yesterday with a hot dry wind after dark. 63F before sunrise and calm. Summer is doing its best to suck what is remaining of the moisture out of the grass and ctitters.including the people before.giving in to the first rain. My palm straw hat is still the daily go-to. Looking forward to the first frost to dust off the 4X Resistol. Smelled like Fall last week. Not tofay.
