I keep calling myself an old lady, but I just figured out that I am not old. I am experienced beyond belief.

  2. In Denmark when the 60th birthday comes along, the celebrations go on for a full twelve months.

    In Japan the older generation are known as national treasures!

  3. Approaching 70 I am beginning to feel I might be getting old. Still, I think we're kids with a wrinkling skin condition, and an awful lot of memories.

  7. Well, that's what old should mean, not just physically old but loaded with experience, wisdom and common sense. Unlike those greenhorns who're hardly out of the womb!

  8. I'm looking forward to October when I turn 62. Then, I can get a lifetime pass to all the National Parks for $10!

    I take advantage of any edge that age gives me!

  9. Conrad: I got my lifetime pass when I took my grandkids to Ft Vancouver WA last month. It's great and I plan to use it to drag them to as many as possible.
