July 19, 2019 Shriners Hospitals for Children, Portland OR
"She’s on the mend.... still no weight bearing or PT for another month, but everything looks good!"
August 15, 2019 at Shriners Hospitals for Children, Portland, OR
"Today was the day.... almost 7 weeks in bed and the casts are off! Lots
of work left for this girl.... but she’s a tough determined lil girl!"
She has been a fighter since the day she was born.

Wonderful news about Miss B.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update.
You are most welcome.
DeleteMiss B. You go!!
ReplyDeleteWSF, She is getting there, did lateral stair work this week.
DeleteWow that is awesome! Thanks for update.
ReplyDeleteCiNdEe, She is a pretty awesome kid. You are welcome.
DeletePraise God for Miss B's healing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking car show.
Linda, Thank you for the prayers.
DeleteIt was a fun car show, lots of different cars.
Well I seem to have missed what happened but am amazed that she is doing so well with all that surgery and etc. I had a plate and screws put in my ankle and that seemed like a lot and here she has both broken legs.
ReplyDeleteChanges, She was born with cerebral palsy. This is her second major surgery on her legs. The docs are hopeful that this will give her greater mobility.
DeleteGood news on your granddaughter. This is why we donate to Shriners. Such a wonderful group.
ReplyDeleteEvery time you talk about Brush Prairie it brings back so many memories as I grew up in Fern Prairie :)
Rain, Shriners is an amazing place. Everyone should tour one of their hospitals and see the wonderful things they are doing for kids.
DeleteI like Brush Prairie, it's country.
Wonderful news. Praying for her.
ReplyDeleteCelia, Thank you, prayers are always welcome.
DeleteThat is great news! Now comes the rehab. Tell her to DO the rehab exactly as directed... sigh
ReplyDeleteOld NFO, She has PT two days a week at the hospital in Portland, which is a 45 minute drive, on a good day, from home. It will be nice when she is release to PT closer to home.
DeleteMy dad was a Shriner Clown (also in life). I am so pleased to see the progress for Miss B. What pluck and grit. God Bless her.
ReplyDeleteCheri, I have no doubt that your dad was a terrific Shriner. Bless him.
DeleteFrom your lips to God's ear.
What a remarkable young lady! May she heal well and go far in life!
ReplyDeleteThe car show looks like fun. I'm havin' a hoot and a holler going to the tractor and farm machinery shows, and taking The Little Guy with us. He gets excited now whenever he sees a green and yellow tractor!
drjim, She got grit that's for sure. Thank you!
DeleteThere were some really strange street rods there. A few reminded me of something out of Mad Max.
You made this crusty old man wheepy. Happy for Miss B. and you all.
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks for stopping by, I know you are busy these days.
