Take the high ground...

Preceded by loud Thunder Boomers and a light show, a little ol' cloud came over the hovel yesterday...

According to the ones that know these things, we got 3 inches in less than 30 minutes.  I don't have to irrigate for a few days.  Love the PNW!

  1. We didn't get the lightning down here but did finally get some real rain. We needed it so badly as it was becoming a dust bowl other than where we irrigated. I hope we get more. It's cozy.

  2. Signs of PNW fall. Days are shorter, rain is colder.

    1. Three inches in 30 minutes was fast enough for me. I went to Mt Angel the other day and saw smoke in the area, was worried til I figured out they were burning off stubble fields.

    1. No need here, the hills make it so it doesn't pool up for long.

    1. True. It's like Mother Nature heaves a big sigh of contentment after a rain.
