The snow is gone, it left via a cold cold wind. Today is sunny with an occasional breeze.

I ventured out to get moss cleaner for the deck and patio at the mega store. People are still clearing the shelves of TP, water, sanitizer, and some vegetables! Commonsense is not on the menu. Lots of small businesses are really being hurt by this.
My parish has stopped all public masses, and most activities as requested by the Archbishop of Seattle. Proving once again that you don't need a church to pray. Oh, but you are encouraged to send in your offerings on line or via the mail.
Had to call in my electrician to fix the plugs in my bedroom. Acted like a loose connection, but I know diddly squat about electrical stuff. The guys came, and yep they were wired incorrectly. The guys fixed them and took a big check and walleye fillets in payment.
I'm regrouting my bathtub. Wanted to get it done before this, but have been painting and other things instead. You know "squirrel".

DeleteWow....I don't recall us having a couple of inches of snow disappearing overnight before!
ReplyDeleteRegrouting tile is one of those "once a decade" jobs. Our grout in the tiled floor areas was so bad we had to call in a specialist to get it clean. He also cleaned all the living and family room carpets at the same time, and while the odor was a bit stout for a couple of hours, the floors looked like new.
I'm hoping this is the last last time I have to do this.
DeleteLooks great! Glad snow is gone. Its been cold here and raining. Snow all over mountains. Everything is still chaos around town. Shelves bare people in a panic. Schools closed. I still have to work to feed the kids that drive up to pick up meals. So much fun. How long till summer vacation?
ReplyDeleteChaos here as well, so many places are closed. My daughter's school is closed for at least til the 1st of April. One granddaughter's college is closed, and they have been snowed in for days. Hoping she will get down the mountain to home this week.

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much work it takes to fix the "little" issues, and how much getting them done improves the general way things look.
I wish the first guy had done a better job, but perhaps he didn't have OCD.
