A dear friend was raised in a small town, surrounded by agriculture. She is a great gardener, possibly because of that I often assume (I know, I know never assume) that she knows things about agriculture that she hasn't a clue about.

DeleteNever saw this in Carlisle. Of course my grandmother only had the one cherry tree and if she told the four us to get up there pronto with paper towels to wipe the cherries dry we'd have been up the tree like squirrels. Not so sure how many cherries would have survived the drying process.
