Here's your chance to do more than just lip service to a fellow blogger.
Linda G is the sweetest lady I know of. She and her husband, both Air Force veterans, have been lovingly restoring their 150 year old farm house in Lecompte, Louisiana. Due to the age of their home, they were unable to insure it.
On Wednesday a tornado destroyed their home!
Blogging spitfire Adrienne has setup a go fund me account to help them out. If you are able Please help, more than words are needed:

You probably know that I use Feedly now since the demise of the other feed site. When I add a blog to the feed they're put in a category ie news, decorating, Catholic, et al. I have a category called "inspiration" where Linda "lives" which defines her for me. But, guess what? That's where you are too.
ReplyDeleteLinda definitely fits the bill, me not so much... the "trouble" category works though.
DeleteThat is sad and that they could not insure it. Good that they weren't killed in it though. Frightening storms.
ReplyDeleteThey are blessed that they were not injured. It's sad they lost the old farm house that they have been working so hard on.
DeletePosted same... let's help out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Padre!
DeleteI donated because this is a woman whom you, LL, and LSP love, and y'all have given so much to me over the years! Bloggers unite. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, she is a sweet lady!
DeleteRight on.
