We have sunshine! Good morning Mt Lassen.
***
A great weekend with Marymine; full of family, kids, dogs, green tutus, and lots of laughter!
SIL Jane and I gett'n ready for the start of the Shamrock'n 5K in Sac on
Sat. Windy and Colder than all getout, but the rain had stopped. Them darn
tracking devices on the numbers are so you can't cut through the back
streets, who knew! Just so all is straight, it was probably not me that
might have tripped that ol guy with the T that read, "You've just been
passed by a 70 yr old man"...
and the wind resistance on a tutu, geez!

The tutu was a nice touch!!
ReplyDeleteLarry, Thanks, we try to be fashion forward...
DeleteYou are a trend setter. I would have felt that having a holstered .45 Colt would have set off the tutu nicely. If you wanted to go gentle, you could have carried a Bowie knife.
DeleteAah, if you could have seen niece and I stashing accessories before hand, you would not be concerned. We don't go to the city without...

DeleteLOL, always a class act! :-) Or something like that... :-P
ReplyDeleteLOL, or something...
DeleteLooking good girl!
ReplyDeleteThanks Celia!
DeleteWhat? No horns? Nice tutu, though. And, the wind resistance wouldn't be such a problem if you didn't run so fast! :) Looks like you had fun in Sacto!
ReplyDeleteThese viking ladies are from a past Bay-to-Breakers, which I'm ashamed to say I have run before (not in costume). It gets a lot weirder in SF, I think, but some of the costumes, like these ladies', are awesome. Must cost a fortune, though.

Grunt, I couldn't find the horns I wanted, Dammit! There where a few tutus, but mostly hardcore runners. Thanks for the pic. Had a good time with family.
DeleteThat tutu is something else but those socks really sealed the look. If there were prizes, sure hope you got one.
ReplyDeleteA Patti, LOL, I had never worn a tutu before, obviously need to get out a bit more. No prize here, but had fun.
DeleteYou can wear that tutu this Thursday for the wearin of the green!
ReplyDeleteCheri, Turned the tutu in to my daughter, but I've got the race Tee, a bag'o nuts and a Guinness for Thursday!
DeleteThat is awesome!!! Glad you got to go(-:
ReplyDeleteCindee, Thank you, it was fun, and any time I get to see family is awesome.
DeleteI find that picture incredibly inspirational! :) Love all of it!
ReplyDeleteJenny, Thanks, so glad to see your pics and that you had a great time on your Utah trek!
DeleteLet's talk about how much money I would have placed on the bet that anyone would ever see you in a tutu!!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, Yeah well I'm not aging gracefully, that's for damn sure!
DeleteLooks like too much fun! And that mountain view...wow!
ReplyDeleteGranny Sue, It was fun! We are surrounded on three sides by beautiful mountains: Mt Lassen to the E, Mt Shasta to the N, and Yolla Bolly Mt to the W.
DeleteProud of you Girl, except for tripping that old guy. I have bruises all over now.
ReplyDeleteWoodsterman, Thanks, I wouldn't do that to you!
