Will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Time away for me always went about 10x faster that for Susie, she never got used to it.
I wish him the very, very best and am so thankful for those who risk their lives for us each and every day so far from home, but wish these wars were more useful. A useful war...that would be a surprise. (By the way, he is quite a looker.)
I was at Naval Air Station North Island this morning and saw corpsmen in transit to Camp Pendleton and my mind went to your grandson.
I'll put that handsome young man in my prayers.
